Dundo - With the victory against Desportivo da Huíla, 3-0, in a game related to the 27th round of the National Football Championship “Girabola'2023/24”, played on Sunday, in Dundo, Sagrada Esperança reduced to one point difference over leader Petro de Luanda.
The 'Tricolores' occupy first place with 57 points (one game less), following very closely by the 'Lundas', with 56 points.
Regarding the challenge, Sagrada Esperança started to dominate and after four minutes they scored the first goal, through Alexandre, who took advantage of the distraction of the defense of the 'military' from the South, following a corner kick.
At 12 minutes, in an identical play and with assistance from Cachi, Victoriano scored the second goal, the third on his personal score.
Sagrada Esperança extended the lead in the 23rd minute, through Deco, after a pass from Dabanda, reaching the break leading 3-0.
At the restart, Desportivo da Huíla started more offensively, trying to reduce the disadvantage against a defensively effective opponent.
In the 51st minute, the 'Militares do Sul' almost scored the first goal, through Beybi, who shot the ball towards the right post of Langanga's goal.
Dissatisfied and concerned with the defense and midfield, associated with Desportivo's offensive avalanche, Roque Saipiri reinforced these sectors with the additions of Nandinho, Dialló and Kandumba.
These three assets ended up helping the team to balance and control the game, which did not change the score in the second half (3-0).
