Luanda - The National Futsal Team on Tuesday traveled to Uzbekistan, to participate in the World Championship, to be held from September 14th to October 6th.
Of the 18 players on the Angolan team, who trained in Portugal, Bonito, Arroz Doce, Vedo, Pesado, Bráulio, Anderson, Helber, Kaluanda, Chico, Jo, Adérito, Nelsinho, Paulo and Denis continued their journey to meet others.
In preparation in Portugal, the group faced Uzbekistan, Portugal and Escola Afonsinhos, who they beat.
Speaking to ANGOP, coach Marcos Antunes, informed that the objective is to try to improve the group stage, achieved in 2021, in Lithuania.
Angola are in group C with Argentina, Ukraine and Afghanistan.
