Luanda – The right midfielder of Petro de Luanda, Ricardo Estevão “Job”, confirmed Monday the end of his career as soccer player, after 18 years of football activity.
The athlete made available the information during an interview on his club´s TV channel, adding that the match with Desportivo da Huíla in the end of Angola League Cup, with his team’s 2-1 win, was the last match representing Petro de Luanda.
“The time has come to make way for the younger ones. I will continue at Petro with other tasks”, emphasized the footballer.
Hailing from the eastern Moxico Province, the soccer player who was trained in Atletico Sport Aviação (ASA) arrived at Petro de Luanda under the guidance of coach Bernardino Pedroto with whom he was champion.
Job, 34, is the only player of the current squad who grabbed two titles from the First Division National Championship (Girabola).
