Mbanza Kongo - Former Petro de Luanda player Flávio Amado was officially presented on Friday in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire province, as the new coach of Clube Desportivo São Salvador for the 2024/2025 season.
Flavio Amado replaced Professor Finda Moser, who led São Salvador's debut in the last national first division.
Speaking to the press after his presentation to the players and members of the club's board, Flávio Amado promised more work so as not to disappoint the expectations generated by his appointment as the new coach of the Zairean team.
"I'm going to work hard to leave my mark on the province of Zaire as coach of São Salvador do Kongo," he said.
Previously, Flávio Amado was assistant coach of the first division Petro de Luanda for six years (2015-2021) and head coach of the club's B team, where they were champions for three consecutive years (2021-2024).
This will be the second time that Clube Desportivo do São Salvador do Kongo competes in the first division. DA/JL/TED/AMP
