Luanda - Fighter Demarte Pena presents Thursday his world champion belt won in the “Ares Fighting Championship" welterweight category, during an audience at the minister of Youth and Sports.
The minister, Palmira Barbosa, will learn more about the fighter's sportive background, who, in May, defended the championship title after defeating the Frenchman Mehdi Saadi, in Paris (France).
Demarte won the fight by unanimous decision.
It was his first title defence, winning by 49-46, 49-46 and 50-45.
The world title was first won by the Mixed Martial Arts fighter in February 17, who overcame the Algerian Elias Boudegzdame after five rounds in the tatami of the Dôme de Paris.
Born on September 23, 1989, the fighter known as "The Wolf" holds dozens of titles in the biggest world fighting championships, such as ARES, EFC and UFC.
In 15 fights fought throughout his career, Demarte Pena has lost only one.
