Luanda – 1º de Agosto won the Luanda provincial senior women 's handball championship after defeating Petro Atlético, 32-18 in the final match played at the Luanda' s Cidadela pavilion.
Last May, Petro de Luanda beat 1º de Agosto in the African Super Cup and Cup of Cup Winners Clubs, both competitions held in Cairo (Egypt).
1º de Agosto’s Helena Paulo was the MVP of the match, with seven goals.
