Luanda – The “Palancas Negras”, Angolan national football team, are in Casablanca, Morocco, since Sunday morning, where they will face Niger on Tuesday, for the 4th round of Group F qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2025).
Interviewed by Angolan Public Television, at Mohammed V International Airport, the national coach, Pedro Gonçalves, said that the players are in good spirits, focused and very eager to play on Tuesday.
Despite the absence of Gelson Dala, who is injured, and the yellow card on Mabululo (forward) and David Carmo (defender), he said he was pleased with the “many options” in the team and that the focus is on achieving another victory.
Last Friday, at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda, Angola beat Niger 2-0, with goals from Mabululu and Milson, in the 3rd round and so lead the group with nine points.
