Luanda – Angola’s Palancas Negras beat today (Monday), the National Football Team of Sudan for 2-1, in a game of the 2nd round of Group F of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations (CAN2025), in Morocco.
The goals of the match, played at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, were scored by Mabululu (50 ́ penalty) and Randy Nteka (80 ́) on the part of the Angola team, while on the Sudanese side Walleldir Khidir (55 ́).
With this result, the Palancas Negras (nickname of the Angolan national team) are now at the top of the series, with six (6) points, followed by the Sudanese (3), while the teams of Ghana and Niger (1 pt each) are last, due to today's draw.
In the first round, Angola beat Ghana in Kumasi 1-0 on Thursday, the same result between Sudan against Niger on Wednesday. GVA/DOJ
