Luanda - Angola national football team is the squad with most goals scored in a single match (three) in four matches already played in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN'2023) taking place in Côte d'Ivoire.
Angolan goals scored by Gelson Dala (2) and Mabululo (1) were scored against Namibia on Saturday at the Peace Stadium in Bouaké.
Angola scored a total of nine goals, six during the first phase in the 1-1 draw with Algeria and the 2-0 win over Mauritania and 3-2 against Burkina Faso.
Nigeria are the second highest scorers in this phase, with two goals, followed by DR Congo and Egypt, with one each.
Angola, Nigeria, DR Congo and the Republic of Guinea have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
The event, which ends on February 11, has already seen four expulsions in the round of 16, namely Federico Bikoro (Equatorial Guinea), Mohamed Hamby Sharaf (Egypt), Neblu (Angola) and Lubeni Pombili Haukongo (Namibia).
