Luanda - The CAFAM club won the Angola Cup in Ju-Jitsu, by teams, by defeating San Fonte in the final, played at the Cidadela Desportiva pavilion, in Luanda.
In the competition, on Sunday, with the participation of 130 athletes, the mixed team from the province of Huambo came in third place, with Guedan in the next position. The finalists are from the country's capital.
The competition involved representatives from eight (8) Provinces, in the male and female senior categories.
In individual events, the province of Luanda won the largest number of medals, with emphasis on the African champions, Elizabeth Salvador, Elaine Mussulo and Felicidade Paula Cassinda, this one from the province of Huambo.
In the end, the president of the Angolan Federation of the sport, Luís John, made a positive assessment of the event, recognizing the commitment of the winners by teams and individuals.
The person in charge also took advantage of the moment to publicize the next event, called “Peace Cup”, to be held in April, in the province of Huambo. BSV/VAB/TED/DOJ
