Luanda - Cape Verde coach, Pedro Budista, affirmed that he will have fast attacking players in his starting eleven to beat Angola on Tuesday (25), at 5 pm, in the 6th round of group D for access to the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to the press on Monday (24), during his squad's training session to familiarize themselves with the pitch at the match venue, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, he acknowledged, however, the host's strengths, which is why his team will try to defend well and make quick offensive transitions.

Pedro Budista, it should be remembered, was once a national football champion for ASA and also, at another time, was part of the technical team of Progresso Associação Sambizanga both being Angolan teams.

For the captain of the "Blue Sharks" (Cape Verde´s nickname), Ryan Mendes, the team is focused on winning the three points, even knowing the good moment that the Angolan team is going through.

Ryan hopes that there will be an atmosphere of "fair play" and a game that will bring joy to the fans of both countries in the stands.

For this match, Pedro Bubista is betting on the players Vozinha (a goalkeeper who has already played in Angola), Wagner Pina, Roberto Lopes "Pico", Logan Costa, Garry Rodrigues, Deroy Duarte, Jair Semedo "Yannick", Willy Semedo and Telmo Arcanjo.
