Luanda - The National Senior Men's Boxing Team will this Monday begin competing in Durban, South Africa in the Nelson Mandela Cup, to be held until the 24th of this month.
The delegation of five boxers left the country on Saturday for the venue of the competition, which will be attended by more than 40 African countries.
Angola will be represented by Miguel Kembo, in the 51kg category, Ernesto Gomes (57kg), Nafetal Goma (67kg), Morais Orlando (71kg) and Adriano Kiana (86kg).
To recall, Adriano Kiana and Nafetal Goma represented Angolan at the last World Boxing Championships in May 2023 in Uzbekistan.
The national team underwent a prepation programme in the city of Huambo with the aim of winning medals.
