Luanda - National Football Team for amputees were honored Thursday by the Investment and Credit Bank (BIC) for the second position achieved in the World Cup, held in Istanbul (Turkey).
This was during a ceremony chaired by the CEO of this financial institution, Hugo Teles, attended by the minister of Youth and Sports, Palmira Barbosa, and management staff of the Angolan Paralympic Committee.
The National team for amputees were awarded a symbolic check in the amount of kz 10.8 million, to be shared by the squad.
Angola lost 1-4 to the host Turkey in the final.
