Benguela - Fourteen teams from the provinces of Benguela (host), Luanda, Bengo, Huíla, Huambo and Uíge participate, from the 13th to the 25th of this year, in the 45th edition of the National Senior Women's Handball Championship.
These are the formations of Petro, 1° de Agosto A and B, Maculusso and Sporting de Luanda, Casa Pessoal do Porto do Lobito, Electro, Sporting and Pérola de Benguela, Madjesport do Bengo, Estrela do Palácio, 4 de Junho, Mora do Virei and Futebol Clube do Uíge.
Speaking to ANGOP, the director of the Benguela Provincial Office of Hospitality, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, Rosália Chitale, all the logistical and technical conditions have been created for the start of the competition.
She explained that, this Sunday, the last meeting of the Technical Committee took place, where the latest details regarding INEMA, public security, accommodation for some teams, among other aspects, were analyzed.
The official said that, in addition to the Pavilhão Arena Acácias Rubras, in Benguela, the Electro do Lobito field, in the railway city, will also host some games.
Rosália Chitale also informed that it was decided that the Government of the Province of Benguela will make four support buses available to the teams.
She asked the Benguela public to participate in the handball celebration, because the best teams in Africa will be in the province.
The 44th National Senior Women's Handball Championship was held in the city of Moçâmedes, Namibe province, in July 2023, and was won by 1º de Agosto A. CRB/DOJ
