Luanda – Shooting guard Milton Valente is back in 1º de Agosto squad, with a two-season contract, ANGOP learned on Monday.
1º de Agosto Club’s director for basketball, Joaquim Gomes “Kikas”, confirmed to ANGOP on Monday, in Luanda, the return of the shooting guard, Milton Valente.
The director informed that the athlete is not yet in the country and has no expected arrival date, and the issue is being assessed by the administrative area.
“Milton is a son of the house, a talent that will always be welcome at the club,” he said.
Valente, as he is treated in basketball, was one of the best units in the club formation and considered the best ball recoverer in the final phase of the “Unitel Basket” national championship, in the 2022/23 season.
Built in 1º of August, Milton Bande Valente, 26 years old, measures 2.2 meters and weighs 80kg.
He represented Maia Basket from Portugal, a 2nd division proliga team, in the 2023-24 season.
