Luanda - The final of the Angola League Cup in senior men's basketball, between Petro de Luanda and Interclube, initially scheduled for the Acácias Rubras pavilion, in the province of Benguela, was moved to Luanda, and takes place this Saturday (March 30).
According to a note from the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), technical issues are behind this change to the Cidadela pavilion in the country's capital.
To reach the final, Petro de Luanda, holders of the title, overcame Casa do Pessoal do Porto do Lobito, with a 118-74 victory and was defeated, by 74-77 in the second challenge.
Interclube defeated 1º de Agosto with a double victory (85 -64 and 84 -81).
The challenge between Petro de Luanda and Interclube will be a “repeat” of of the previous edition.
