The game is in the preparation for the World Cup that will take place on August 25 - September 10 in Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
Angolans were winning 36-32 in the first half, but they failed to hold down their opponent.
It is the second defeat of the national team to Japan in this campaign, after having lost in the first confrontation (68-72).
In the 2006 World Cup, Angola beat the Asian “giant” 87-62.
In the current Edition, Angola share group A with the Philippines, Italy and the Dominican Republic, the last being their debut opponent.
