Luanda - The Angolan Investment Bank (BAI) will offer five million kwanzas to each athlete and member of the National Team's technical team, in case of victory in the game against Namibia, at 6 pm Saturday, in Bouaké, for the round of 16 -final of CAN'2023.
The initiative by BAI, one of the largest commercial banks in Angola, was announced this afternoon, on its official Facebook page.
The communication from the banking institution does not specify, however, how and when the amounts will be delivered to the beneficiaries in the case of victory.
In official terms, Angola has already obtained $800,000 dollars from the qualification to the round of 16 from the African Football Confederation (CAF).
The champion of the continental competition will be entitled to seven million dollars, the runner-up five million, while the four semi-finalists will each have 2.5 million. MC/DOJ
