Luanda - The Angolan driver Rui Andrade finished 13th placed (among 33 competitors) on Sunday in the LMP2 category of the World Endurance Championship, in a race that took place in the SPA-Francorchamps Circuit, in Belgium.
Rui Andrade, 21-year old, represents the G-Drive Racing team, with the Aurus car, and is the first Angolan driver to participate in a world championship.
The Angolan driver lives in Portugal and in this race he was teamed with the American John Falb and the former Spanish Formula 1 driver John Mehri.
The next race will be in Portugal, at Portimão Circuit, on June 11.
