Huambo - Interclube team won Monday, the Huambo provincial senior athletics championship in male and female categories, held in honor of the Angolan sportswomen.
The Interclube team reached the first three places in male category, through the sprinters Assunção Catambi, Domingos Muholo and António Domingo.
Besides Interclube, Petro de Luanda and Huambo's Núcleo do São João competed in the 15 kilometers race with a total of 14 runners.
In the female category, the only athlete of Interclube, Luciana Viengo, was the fastest after covering 15 kilometers in one hour and 54 seconds, in a race disputed by four sprinters, three of them independent racers.
