Luanda - Angola central defender, Kialonda Gaspar, agreed to represent US Lecce from Italy for five seasons in a €2 million contract for 90% of his transfer, after two seasons at Estrela da Amadora from Portugal.
According to the Portuguese newspaper RECORD, the Angolan international player will undergo medical examinations this week, signing a contract that will provide his current club with a tenth of a future transfer.
Kialunda, who debuted in the Angolan first division National Football Championship (Girabola) in 2018, for Sagrada Esperança da Luanda-Norte, will become the fourth Angolan footballer to play in Serie A, after Bastos Kissanga (SS Lázio), Zito Luvumbu (Cagliari FC) and Mbanza Nzola (ACF Fiorentina).
During two seasons in the Portuguese league, the 26-year-old central defender made 63 appearances and 2 goals. He has been one of the regular central defenders in Angola's starting eleven.
