Luanda – The Angolan player Daniel Domingo last Sunday, in Luanda, conquered the second week of the World Tournament of the International Tennis Federation (ITFJ30), played in Kikuxi Villas Club (KVC) court in Viana District, Luanda Province.

In the final game, in male singles, the national junior category champion and KVC player defeated the Portuguese Rodrigo Leal, by two sets with the partial results of 6-3 and 6-4, thus confirming his favouritism, after a similar feat in the first week.

To get to this point, Daniel Domingos eliminated in the semi-finals the Mozambican Luca Figueiredo, by 6-0 and 6-1, while Rodrigo Leal put away his compatriot Martins Bernardo ( 2-6/7-5/6-1).

After the triumph, Daniel Domingos expressed his satisfaction with the achievement, thanking all those involved in his competitive quality, especially the KVC Academy.

Meanwhile, in females, the South African Roxy Brenkamp beat the Chinese Chenming Zhang (6-3, 4-6 e 6-4).

In the semi-finals, the tennist Roxy beat the Portuguese Marta Duarte (6-0 and 6-3), whereas Chenming put away the South African Abigayel Vosloo (6-0 and 6-3).

The tournament – which also includes games in paired teams – is being disputed by under-18 category players from twenty countries and from the all the continents.
