Luanda – Angola plays against Kazakhstan on Thursday, in the 25th place qualifiers, in the under-18 women's handball World Championship, taking place in China.
Motivated by their 1st victory in the competition, against Chile 32-21, Angolan players dropped 4 places compared to their last participation back in 2018, in Poland.
In their competition's farewell, Angolan will face the winner of Iceland – India, also scheduled for Thursday.
In the regular phase Angola lost to China 21-29, to Montenegro 16-31, Croatia 14-30, and to Austria, 20-38.
In the quarter-finals Croatia faces Denmark, France faces Germany, Hungary faces Serbia and Spain finds Japan
