Luanda – Angolan athlete Ana Rosa, Brazilian “Ne-waza” Jiu-jitsu athlete, has qualified for the 12th Edition of the World Games (TWG 2025 Chengdu), to be held from August 10 to 17, in the cities of Chengdu, capital of the province of Sichuan, China.
According to a note from the Angolan Jiu-Jitsu and Associated Disciplines Federation, to which ANGOP had Access to, on Tuesday (25), in Luanda, the athlete qualified for the “World Games/2025” after having won points in the last World Championship, held in 2022, in the 63 kg category.
Angola learned of the feat through a notification from the international federation of the sport, stating that the athlete Ana Rosa will be accompanied by her coach, Pakissi Nzinga.
The Angolan fighter is a two-time African champion in Angola (2022) and in Morocco (2023).
