Luanda - Angola beat Kazakhstan 22-20 on Thursday in a match for the 25th place of the Under 18 Women’s World Handball Championship taking place in China.
After losing 11-13 at half-time, Angola managed to improve their defensive play to win their second match in the competition, after beating Chile 32-21 on Tuesday.
Angola's defeats in the regular phase were against Montenegro (16-31), Croatia (14-30) and China (21-29).
In the consolidation phase, Angola lost to Austria (20-38) and Nigeria (21-29).
In their last appearance in 2018 in Poland, Angola finished in the 21st position. WR/TED/AMP
