Luanda – The national senior women's basketball team beat Rwanda 74-68 on Sunday, in the closing game of the regular phase of group A of the African championship (Afrobasket'2023), taking place in Kigali, Rwanda.
Angolan player Nadir Manuel, with 21 points, was the game's top scorer.
However, for the quarter-finals, only the first placed team will qualify directly and it is a situation that will be defined by the organizers, given that the three teams in the group each have a win and an equal number of defeats.
At their opening games, the Angolan team lost to Ivory Coast, 69-72.
