Luanda – Angola´s senior men's national handball team beat Kenya 48-20 in Cairo on Friday in the second round of Group D at the African Championship in Egypt, in a match that coach Filipe Cruz put all his players to play.
In their opening match on Wednesday, the Angolans beat Nigeria 26-24. Angola's Otoniel Pascoal, with (10) ten goals, was voted the best player (MVP) of the match.
The Angolans will on Sunday play the runners-up Tunisia for the third and final match of the regular phase. In the competition, Angola is aiming to improve on its eighth place in the previous edition.
