Luanda – Attack moves, defence and strength improvement techniques dominated on Tuesday, in Luanda, the National Team's training for cadets and juniors, aiming for the African Fencing Championship, to be held from Feb 28th to March 7th, in the Cidadela pavilion.
The session included the full group, made up of 14 fencers, 8 male and 6 female.
Speaking to ANGOP, coach Yusufu Kiamuangana stated that the squad have been working twice a day, in order to ensure better interaction.
As for the specialty, Angola will be represented at the event by 13 Épée athletes, both genders, and one foil.
This international fencing tournament is part of the festivities in the ambit of the 50th anniversary of national independence, to be marked on November 11th.
