Luanda – Angola’s National Football Team lost this Saturday morning to Morocco by 0-1, with a self-inflicted goal scored by the central defender David Carmo, a FIFA date game.
The game, played in the Agadir Stadium (Morocco), was attended by 40,000 spectators.
The “fatal” mistake made by the Angolan squad at 71 minutes enabled the Moroccans to take the upper hand. Until such moment, striker Mabululu was a real nuisance to the Moroccans, who were having a hard time stopping the Al Ittihad Alexandria club player.
This is the eighth match between the two teams since 1998, out of which Angola won one (2-0 in 2014), while Morocco won five.
The Angolan National Football Team will have another FIFA date encounter on Monday (25) with the Comoros Island, also to be played on Moroccan soil at 10pm.
