At halftime of the challenge, the Angolan team was already losing by 24-35, later recovering, but without the ability to overcome the Lebanese team, in the final phase.
With this result, the African competitor misses the semi-finals, which makes it possible to fight to reach the biggest sporting event in the world, the Paris Olympic Games, which take place from July 26th to August 11th this year.
In the previous meeting, Wednesday, Angola lost to Spain, 81-89. Thus, Spain leads Group A, with (4) points, followed by Lebanon, three (3), and Angola, two (2).
