Luanda – The National Women's Under-18 Handball Team lost on Sunday to its similar team from Austria, by 20-38, in a qualifying game for 25th place in the World Championship taking place in China.
With the result, Angola falls to the President's Cup, where it will face Chile on Tuesday (20).
On Saturday, at the end of the regular phase, the national team also lost to Nigeria by 21-29, finishing in 4th place in group B.
The Austrians reached 3rd place in Group A, with 4 points.
In the debut of this World Championship, Angola lost to Montenegro, 16-31, and in the following round it was also defeated by Croatia, 14-30.
