Luanda – The National Football Team is placed in pot 3 of the CHAN2025 group stage draw, to be held on the 15th of this month, at the CAF headquarters, in Cairo (Egypt).
The group is made up of Mauritania (26th in the CAF Ranking), Niger (45th), Congo (44th), Angola (17th), Burkina Faso (12th), Nigeria (5th), Central African Republic (47th) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (11th).
This stage of the competition will be played from Feb 1st to 28th, in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The split will be done into three pots, according to the latest update of the FIFA rankings, for the month of December 2024.
A total of 18 teams will be drawn.

Pot 1: Morocco (14th), Kenya (108th), Uganda (88th), Tanzania (106th) and Senegal (17th)
Pot 2: Guinea (78th), Zambia (87th), Madagascar (116th), Rwanda (124th) and Sudan (113)
Pot 3: Mauritania (109th), Niger (122nd), Angola (85th), Congo (128th), Burkina Faso (66th), Nigeria (44th), Central African Republic (135th) and Democratic Republic of Congo (61st).
