Luanda – Angola’s National Males Football on Crutches Team is in Group C of the first edition of the African Games of adapted sports, set to happen on 3-12 September in Accra, Ghana.
According to the draw, held on Thursday in Luanda by the African Confederation of Adapted Football (CAAF), in the competition to be played by 12 teams, Angola, vice-champions of the world and third place in the African Championship, are in Group C with Egypt (to face the Angolans in the debut game on September 4), Kenya and Rwanda.
In Group A the teams are Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, while the Group B contenders are Libya, Uganda, Morocco and Togo.
The event was attended by the chairman of the African Confederation of Adapted Football (CAAF), the Angolan Leonel Pinto.
The event also includes Wheelchair Basketball and Tennis.
