Luanda- The Angolan National Team beat Ghana 11-3 on Monday, in Luanda Province, thus being qualified for the semi-finals of the African futsal championship.
Angola achieved this historic result in a match played at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Pavilion in Rabat, Morocco.
In the challenge, part of the 3rd round of group A, Angola scored with a hat-trick by Bráulio (3) and Chico (3). Arroz Doce (2), Jó, Hélber and Kaluanda completed the scoring, while Ghana scored through Adérito, Pako and Arthur.
With this victory, Angola are in second place with 6 points.
On Friday for the semi-finals, Angola will play Egypt, the three-time continental champions.
In the group's other match, hosts Morocco beat Zambia 13-0 to take top spot in Group A with nine points and will face Libya in the semi-finals.
