Luanda - Angola is in fourth place of the African Futsal Confederation ranking, with 1,053 points, after finishing runners-up in the CAN`2024, which ended last Sunday in Rabat (Morocco), with the hosts winning it.
Angola finished third in the 2020 edition, held in the Kingdom of Morocco.
With second position achieved Angola qualified for the World Championships to be held from September 14 to October 6 in Uzbekistan.
Morocco, with 1,532 points, currently three-time continental champions after winning in South Africa in 2016, 2020 and 2024, lead the ranking.
Egypt, also with three titles, occupies second place in the ranking with 1,143 points.
The Egyptians organized the event in 1996, 2000 and 2004, the latter jointly with Mozambique, having won the competition consecutively.
Libya, which won the event in 2008 in its fourth edition, is in third place with 1,065 points
