Luanda - The National Amputee Football Team beat Sierra Leone on Sunday by an expressive 4-0 at the Petrol Sport Stadium, starting the African Championship (CAN), which is taking place in Cairo (Egypt), in an auspicious way.
In a group D match, in which Angola scored through Lucas Fungula, in the 5th minute, Heno Guilherme (31'), Félix Paciência (37') and Pedro Vicente (49').
After winning the event in the 2019 edition, in the province of Benguela (Angola), the National Team intends to do better than the third position in 2021, in Tanzania.
For this competition, qualifying for the World Championship, in 2026, the national team will face Tanzania, on the 21st, for the second round.
It is also part of the Angola (D) group, Rwanda.
Group A consists of Egypt, Cameroon, Nigeria and Burundi.
B - Liberia, Morocco, Uganda and Senegal
C - Ghana, Kenya, Gambia and Algeria
