Luanda - Angola increased to five the number of medals won in the World Championship of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Cadets and Youth, taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
n Friday, on the next-to-last day of the event, Milfa Nicolau won the bronze medal, in the 83kg category, at the Arena Mubadala pavilion.
The national combined team won the gold medal on Thursday for fighter Mayra Lemos, in the 62kg.
Three bronze medals had already been won by Albertina Ntyamba, Stélvia Muhanha and Cláudio Fontoura.
Jorogesio Muachambi (-56.7kg) and Menezes Tchimuisa (-65kg) will compete Saturday, the last day of the event.
