Luanda - The national junior women's handball team will face the similar team from the United States of America (USA) on Friday, for the second round of the World Championship, taking place in Macedonia, Southeast Europe, thus seeking first victory in the competition.
In the Group H game, scheduled for 10:15 am, the Angolan team are considered the favorite, given the difference between them.
The African champions lost in their debut game to Iceland, 19-24, a game that at half-time was equal to nine (9) goals, while the USA were defeated by Macedonia 15-32.
In the world competition, Angola aim to improve on the sixth place achieved in the 2022 edition, held in Slovenia.
