Luanda – The Angola senior men's handball team will face Egypt this Tuesday at 3:30 pm, for the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (AFCON), taking place in the city of Cairo and runs until January 27th.
The Angolan team finished in second place in group D, and will face the top placed of group B.
In the regular phase, Angola beat their Nigerian counterparts (26-24), Kenya (48-20) and at the end of the regular phase lost to Tunisia (30 -33).
The Egyptian team (title holders) defeated Guinea (33-15), Congo (34-19) and Cameroon (35-16) in the first phase.
