Luanda - The men's national basketball team beat Mali 72-55 on Saturday, in Luanda, in the opening game of the first round of group B of the second edition of the African Championship (AFROCAN), reserved for national competition players.
The group B match was played at the Kilamba multi-purpose pavillion and was attended by the Head of State, João Lourenço, and the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço.
Coached by Aníbal Moreira, the national team is composed by the players Emanuel Sebastião (02), Keven Albino (19), Tarcio Domingos (20), Geovani Kibinga (05), Macachi Brás (11), Walter Luzolo (did not play), Wilson Cassav (07), Kenneth Manuel (08), Glofate Buiamba (03), Bamba Cissé (03), Miguel Maconda (02) and Aloisio Andrade (02).
