Luanda - 1º de Agosto Senior Women's Handball team lost on Wednesday by 20-26, against Al Ahly from Egypt, and failed to defend the title of African Clubs Champion in the 45th Edition of the competition taking place in Laayoune (Morocco).
During the entire match, the “military” (1º de Agosto's nickname) were always at a disadvantage, and at HT were losing by 8-11.
After having defeated HBC Abidjan by 45-23, Petro de Luanda, another Angolan ambassador at this African competition, will play in the semi-final, against Al Ahly on Friday, October 18.
