Luena - 1 de Agosto Taekwando teams may miss the National Men's and Women's Taekwondo Championships to be held from November 9 to 13 in Luena, Moxico province due to financial issues, ANGOP has learnt from an official source.
Speaking to ANGOP, the head of the Provincial Taekwondo Association in Moxico, Aldmar Fernando explained that the absence of the military Taekwondo team makes it impossible for them to participate in international competitions in 2022.
"The Department for Modalities of the military team told us that the lack of funds for transportation and other current expenses will condition the participation of the club in the National championship of Moxico," he said.
In the history of the national competitions, in 13 editions, teams from Moxico have won four medals, three bronze and one silver.
