Luanda – The director of Kuzola Children’s Shelter, Engrácia do Céu, has called for environmental preservation as part of the environmental education and socio-educational activities for children.
Speaking at the 10th edition of Green Day run under the motto “Conservation and preservation of marine biodiversity”, the shelter’s director said the environmental protection issue is current and of concern.
Engrácia do Céu added that the Kuzola children’s shelter joined the initiative of the multinational Total Energie and framed this theme as beneficial to society, underlining that it is an annual activity, with each year having a theme to be reflected upon in the communities.
She added that the 357 children present at the ceremony have been taught by educators and teachers about the benefits of preserving the environment. AB/VIC/DAN/AMP
