The campaign, which is scheduled to be launched on November 5, in the municipality of Lóvua, will involve 728 cooperatives, 416 associations, 98 small producers, involving 211,134 families.
Last agricultural season, 224,343 families were involved, which produced 2,462,45 tons of various products, exceeding the target set at the time, which was 2,200,384 tons.
According to the source, the distribution of seeds of white and yellow corn (40 tons), sorgo (30), millet (10) is underway, awaiting the arrival of other inputs, in addition to the acquisition of fertilizers to achieve the defined goals.
Without specifying figures, he said that some agricultural cooperatives benefited this year from various equipment, such as power tillers, tractors, mills and rice and corn husking machines, through a credit line from the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA).
