Ndalatando - Producers in the agribusiness sector, in the province of Cuanza-Norte, are now counting on the second phase of financing made available by the Agricultural Development Support Fund (FADA), with a view to increasing activity in the region.
The support consists of a package to finance 100 institutions, including cooperatives and individual producers, covering, in the first phase, seven beneficiaries in the municipalities of Cazengo, Golungo Alto, Samba Caju and Ngonguembo, within the framework of an agreement between FADA and the representation site of the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (Inefop).
The recipients (two cooperatives and five individual producers) received, at the beginning of this month, seven million kwanzas, each, to be reimbursed in three years, with a one-year grace period and a semi-annual reimbursement period.
Speaking to ANGOP, last Monday, the head of Inefop, Lucas Baltazar, made it known that in this second stage of the program, individual producers will benefit from five million kwanzas, four in goods and services and one in cash.
Associates will be entitled to Kz 15 million, of which 13 in services and two in cash.
Around 200 candidates are registered for financing, which has as its main requirement the presentation of the land concession title or a document from the municipal administration about its ownership, as well as training in entrepreneurship. IMA/VC/DOJ
