Sumbe - The cooperatives " Battling Women" and "Youth with New Hope", from Ebo municipality, in Cuanza Sul province, this weekend benefited from Kz130 million to promote family agriculture in this locality, ANGOP reported.
The investment is an action of the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA), aiming at the increase of production rates in this region, mainly of crops of grains, tubers, citrus fruits, vegetables, animals, among others.
Speaking to the press, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FADA, Carlos Fernandes, said that this credit is part of a total of four to be delivered in the medium and long term, with an interest rate of around three percent.
With this gesture, it is expected to create more jobs and take the cooperatives out of the informal economy, towards the sustainable development of families.
FADA is an institution in charge of allocating financial resources in the form of credits to food production actions, cooperatives, associations and micro and small enterprises in the agricultural sector.
