Talatona - The Portuguese specialist in digital transformation of public administration services, Anabela Pedrosa, recommended Friday the Angolan State to transform the country’s national electronic administrative system into a digital Nation.
The specialist made the statement at the two-day International Conference on Digital Transition of Public Administration being held in Luanda.
The portuguse specialistt, who was adressing the theme on "The Construction of the Public Administration of the Future, Challenges, Transition and Governance", said the digital nation is important, since it addresses all aspects of the society.
To the Portuguese specialist, the path that public administration must follow is digital transition because it looks at the economy, health, politics, and justice in a cohesive and integrated way.
"It is necessary to have better services within the administration and further digitalize the administration itself", Ms Pedrosa explained.
She added that the digital transition of the administration no longer waits for citizen to come to it, but instead the administration goes to the citizen.
The Conference that ended Friday, addressed issues related to the digital transition in Angola, presentation of solutions and promotion of reflections crucial to the processes of modernization, digitalization and interoperability in Public Administration.
Organized by the Institute for Administrative Modernization (IMA), the two-day conference aimed to gather experience from other states in terms of public services digitalization.
