Luanda - Three Angolan representatives have qualified for the African and Arab Programming Contest (ACPC), after they have managed to obtain a higher score in the 5th edition of the Angolan University Programming Contest (AOCPC).
They are ISPTEC, ISUTIC Higher Institutes and Agostinho Neto University (UAN), which participated in the contest held on 29 and 30 December 2020.
The results were released last weekend, with ISPTEC having ranked first after it did nine of the 13 exercises submitted, followed by ISUTIC (8/13) and UAN (4/13).
The contest brought together 17 teams, which represented eight Higher Education Institutions of the country.
The three Angolan institutions will represent the country at ACPC competition on 19 - 23 March in Luxor, Egypt, along with other universities from Africa and the Middle East countries.
Under the competition regulations, the winning institutions will qualify for the world cup.
