Mbanza Kongo – At least 42 of the 97 social projects included in the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM) in northern Zaire province have already been completed since the program was launched in the region in May 2020.
The information was disclosed by the deputy governor for Technical and Infrastructure sector, Ângela Diogo, at the end of the meeting of the Provincial government's council.
The official explained that of the number of projects designed for Zaire, 90 are the responsibility of the provincial government and municipal administrations, while the other seven are the responsibility of various ministerial departments.
Ângela Diogo said of the projects that have already been completed, 19 were inaugurated and 22 others are waiting to be equipped, with emphasis on the construction of a maternal and child hospital, the health centre in the commune of Kaluka and the municipal morgue in Mbanza Kongo.DA/JL/DAN/AMP
