Uíge - Four individuals aged between 18 and 46, on Friday in the northern Uíge Province were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in the municipality of Quimbele, for their alleged involvement in diamond trafficking.
Speaking to ANGOP this Saturday, the SIC spokesman in Uíge, Zacarias Fernando, said that the arrest took place in the village of Kimalalo, on the outskirts of the municipal centre, when the accused were on their way to the country's capital city of Luanda, where they were going to commercialise the miner.
The SIC seized two diamond stones and other materials for weighing and checking precious stones. NM/OHA/MRA/DOJ
